Name: Danielle
Describe yourself in three words: open-minded, generous, independent
Major: International Business and Management
Danielle was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Conyers, GA before she started high school. Her parents wanted a change in lifestyle, but Danielle did not want to move...she cried before the first day of high school :( She chose to go to UGA purely out of convenience and because of the HOPE Scholarship. Danielle loves traveling, cooking, and learning about languages & cultures. She actually wants to be a cook, open her own restaurant, and specialize in international cuisine. Danielle, however, did not want to go straight into culinary school and wanted to earn her Bachelor's degree first. If cooking doesn't work out, she is thinking about becoming an international project manager. Danielle is a member of the UGA Crew Team and actually has a scrimmage against Vanderbilt tomorrow! Good luck!
Every day, for an entire year, I am going to interview a different person, listen to his or her life story, and take a picture. I will post a brief summary of this person's history and include details such as: experiences, hometown, occupation, life goals, etc. We'll just see where the conversation leads! Here is my essay that I wrote for English detailing my project: http://365people365stories.blogspot.com/2011/11/365-people-365-stories-essay.html (Note: You have to copy/paste the link)

Name: Devin
Major: Accounting (he did well in math in high school)
Devin was born at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA, but his dad was in the Navy so his family moved around a lot as a kid. He went from living in Marietta, GA to San Francisco Bay Area, back to Dallas, GA, then to Brunswick, ME and finally back to Georgia. He chose to attend UGA because his older sister did as well, and he looks up to her as a role model. During sophomore year, his parents separated which made going through high school a challenge. Despite wanting to live with his mom, he chose to live with his dad in order to stay in the same school district. In the long term, Devin wants to be financially prosperous to be "able to support his family". Because of his experiences, Devin strongly believes in non-judgement.
