191/365

Name: Nicole
Three words to describe yourself: independent, ambitious, spontaneous
Nicole is from Atlanta, Georgia, and when I asked her how she liked living there, Nicole replied, "I don't feel like I really saw anything outside of Atlanta . . . UGA has really opened me up." At UGA she is studying Childhood and Family Development because she has "always had a love for children." As far as a career goes, she wants to work in either child advocacy or as a family consultant. For traveling, Nicole would like to go to Africa, Asia, and Italy, especially because she is studying Italian now. Nicole likes learning about different cultures and going on mission trips is on her bucket list. Nicole says that her faith is very important to her, and next year, she is working with a youth group. She is also in a dance ministry through Wesley, and last semester, Nicole was in a show called "Dance Upon Justice" and they raised money for an organization called Exodus Cry, which, from there website is "an international anti-trafficking organization committed to abolishing modern day slavery through prayer and awareness." http://exoduscry.com/ Family is also very important to Nicole and she has a younger sister who is 16 years old. Her favorite part about college has been "finding a really good community with Christian groups." "I wasn't expecting it at all with how big of a party school UGA is," she said. Nicole also likes Hello Kitty, anime, and this quote from Audrey Hepburn:

"For attractive lips,
Speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes,
Seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure,
Share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair,
Let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise,
Walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, even more than things,
Have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed,
And redeemed; never throw out anyone.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand,
You will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands;
One for helping yourself, and the other for helping others."
