Name: Nancie
Three words to describe yourself: creative, loyal, easygoing
Nancie lives in Kennesaw, Georgia but is originally from Athens. She attended UGA for awhile, but she completed her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at Kennesaw State University as well as her Master's in English Education. Because of the economic downturn, however, Nancie did not want to become an English teacher, so she decided to open a consignment store instead. She said, "I've always wanted to start my own business," and Nancie said that when she was little, she played "store" in the hallway and would try to sell things to her parents. "The satisfaction of the store being successful" has been her favorite part of Ecologie and "finding something [she's] really good at." She said that she "had all these talents but didn't know what to do with them" and opening a store allowed Nancie to utilize all of her talents! Expanding the store is something Nancie wants to do in the near future, and she wants to see her kids create "happy lives" for themselves. She has been married to the same man for thirty years, and "Love God, love people" is her motto.
