151/365

Name: Beth
Three words to describe yourself: opinionated, creative, driven
Beth is from Mobile, Alabama, and even though she has moved thirteen times from her dad's job in the navy, Beth considers Georgia to be her home. She says, "Moving has helped me develop my interpersonal skills and meeting new people." When Beth first came to UGA, she "had a ten-year plan" which included studying history and law. "I thought I knew what I wanted to do in life . . . then I got to college," she says. Right now, Beth is just "going with the flow . . . and trying to keep H.O.P.E." She says, "You can plan your life all you want to, but it's never going to go the way you want it to." Currently, Beth is studying Public Relations, would like to do Agricultural Communications because she has been in FFA since the 6th grade and took an agricultural business class in high school. Eventually, Beth would like to be an agricultural lobbyist and develop agricultural policy opinions. Beth also has a younger brother and has been with her boyfriend for two-and-a-half years.
