Name: Bob
Three words to describe yourself: impatient, creative, driven
Bob was born in Martinsville, Virginia and he moved to Atlanta in 1979 because he "didn't want to grow up in a small town." His first job was at the Peachtree Plaza Hotel as a lunch waiter and then he ended up working as a night sommelier. After this job, he worked for a few caterers, and then he became a flight attendant for TWA Airlines. When 9/11 happened, Bob was furlowed from TWA and he moved on to work for a floral design service and began his entertainment business. This summer, starting in Atlanta, Bob is going to take his character of "Baton Bob" on tour to all 50 states. He is going to be telling the story of Baton Bob that evolved in St. Louis after 9/11. He will be opening at Park Tavern on August 10th. His mom is 80 years old and "she has an exclusive hat collection." Bob is "going to take some of her hats to honor her." He said, "I want to use the spirit of my character to create a platform to help create change for the social issues in this country." On his bucket list, Bob would like to be on stage twirling his batons with Adele when she sings "Set Fire to the Rain." "I want Baton Bob to become a household name all over the world, not just in Atlanta or America," Bob says. He also lives in non-fear saying, "God is not about fear." As a final note, Bob says, "We need more laughter and craziness now more than ever."
