Jo Jack traces his roots back to San Francisco, CA where he lived there for the first thirteen years of his life. After age thirteen, he moved to Colorado and has since traveled all over the United States for "work, pleasure, and seeing parts of the country nobody has seen before". I asked him where the prettiest place is that he's seen and without skipping a beat, he replied "western Montana". He also likes the desert for its spikes, bristles, extreme temperatures, and the wildlife that only comes out at night. Jo Jack got tired of slaying hippies in Sacramento, so he moved locations to Athens, and he gets around the country by hitchhiking on freight trains. Compared to other cities he has stayed in, Jo Jack says Athens is very welcoming because of the Southern hospitality. For a long term goal, he would like to get a business license and open up his own music venue where bands can stay and perform.
