Mia is from Alamo Heights, TX, and area in greater San Antonio, TX and she likes in because "[she's] comfortable". Her mother is Canadian and her father is Turkish. She is a sophomore at San Antonio College studying merchandise-marketing and would eventually like to become a buyer for a store. Her inspiration for pursuing this career came from going to Saks 5th Avenue and "hating the layout". Mia wants to work for a small business because "big ones are mean and ugly". She would love to live in New York, if she had a penthouse on 5th Avenue. "No way would I want to go there and struggle". Working for a consignment store, Mia considers herself a "thrifter" and likes thrifting because "you don't get screwed by the big guy". In her free time, she likes to make wooden picture frames out of canoes and has been playing the piano for eleven years.
