Name: Ayo
Three words to describe yourself: eager, enthusiastic, token
Ayo is from Gainesville, GA and has lived there for twelve years. Before Gainesville, he lived in Yonkers, NY. Even though he does not live in New York, Ayo says that it "feels like home" even though he left at a young age. His mom's side of the family still lives there, so he visits often. His goal is to "be successful in the business world", and he was inspired to do so because of his experience with "personal ventures" as a kid; including selling candy on the side. We talked about basketball for a while, and Ayo is an Atlanta Hawks fan. I told him I liked the Spurs and he responded that the "Spurs are boring, old, and crusty". Whatever. As far as college, Ayo's favorite thing about UGA is being able to meet new people and have new experiences. The hardest thing has been "transitioning away from the people you knew and branching out". Ayo also enjoys playing basketball for fun and watching Sports Center and game shows.
