Name: Derek
Three words to describe yourself: outgoing, friendly, ambitious
Derek is from Vidalia, Georgia and he does not grow Vidalia onions (I asked). At UGA, Derek is studying International Affairs because he is interested in politics and "wants a job that deals with other countries." His dream job is to be a CIA agent because "It would be awesome to be behind the scenes and know what's going on. It wouldn't be boring," he says. Another dream Derek has is to run for some sort of political office. He also wants to travel to "anywhere [he] can afford," but Derek has been to Las Vegas, New York, the Bahamas, and Washington D.C. Currently, Derek is studying Spanish and he says that wants to know the language but doesn't like "the process of getting there." Derek also describes himself as a "huge Georgia fan" as he says, "football season tickets have been in my family since the '50s." In his free time, Derek enjoys fishing, playing football, and hunting.
