Name: Rahul
Three words to describe yourself: outgoing, lively, loving
Rahul was "born and raised in New York," specifically Queens, and he loved "the fast paced life" because "there was always something going on." Because his parents "wanted a break from the fast life," his family moved to Duluth, Georgia. Rahul said the move was a "weird social adjustment, and it was hard leaving friends behind." Both of his parents were born in India, and they moved to America just to settle. Rahul speaks Gujarati, and at UGA, he is studying Chemistry with a minor in Math. He chose chemistry because his Chemistry teacher in high school was "phenomenal," and he chose math because it's something he's "always loved." Rahul is also attempting to be Pre-Med, and he would like to become a cardio surgeon. He describes himself as a "big New York sports fan" and his motto is; "I live life to the fullest." His goal is to make his future family and parents happy as well as to travel to every state in the U.S. (he has been to ten so far). At UGA, Rahul is also involved in a lot of clubs, including the Indian Cultural Exchange. Currently, he is the freshman representative, and he will be the cultural chair next year. Rahul says that the "greatest experience" of his life was going to the Dominican Republic in the 6th grade with a few cousins because they "just goofed around." For Spring Break of his senior year, Rahul also went to Panama City Beach. He also loves ranch, and says, "Most people eat pizza with ranch; I eat ranch with pizza."
