My sister and her boyfriend surprised the Pruitt family on Christmas Day in 2012 by bringing a 6-week-old black lab puppy home in a basket and they named him Cooper. They chose him out of the whole litter because when my sister picked him up, he just snuggled in her arms. He was born on 11/11/11 and is from Douglasville, Georgia. Because Cooper did not have a "mom" to learn habits from, he has been taken under the "wing" by Casey, our almost 12-year-old black lab. At first, Casey was hesitant about having another dog in the house, but now that Cooper is older, they never leave each others' sides. They sleep side-by-side every night and Cooper will start whining if he is ever separated from Casey, or if he is ever by himself for more than ten seconds. Like Casey, Cooper loves treats, car rides, swimming, and walks. I mostly wrote this post so that I could show the world how freaking adorable Cooper is :)

I mostly picked him because he was the only boy in the litter! He is a good snuggler, though :)
