176/365

Name: Pauline
Three words to describe yourself: reserved, Floridian, tin-man
Pauline is from Jacksonville, FL and has lived there her whole life. Originally her parents are from the Philippines, but they moved to work in Maryland because of her mom's family business and to Florida after Pauline's older sister was born. Pauline visited the Philippines in the 2nd grade and a lot of her relatives still reside there. Pauline chose to study at UGA because she wanted to major in Broadcast Journalism, and UGA "has one of the best journalism schools." Her ultimate dream job "to work at E! News and be an entertainment correspondent," so red carpet interviews. In college, Pauline would like to intern at news stations, "even if they're local ones." Her personal goal is to "get married and have a big family." Pauline grew up with only one sister but says, "I wish I had a ton of brothers and sisters." Pauline has traveled to Spain and Italy. "Venice looked like a painting . . . it was so pretty," she says. Since the age of four, Pauline has been dancing, with ballet being her favorite style because it was the one she was best at. She went to a performing arts high school, where she danced all the time, so she said, "I needed a break from dance after that . . . I told myself I would never dance again . . . and now I kind of miss it." Now, Pauline is thinking about minoring in dance at UGA. Pauline says, "Im obsessed with TV. I DVR'ed everything in high school . . . Modern Family, Glee, So You Think You Can Dance." I asked if Pauline if she wanted to audition for the show and she said that for SYTYCD, you have to be really good in all styles of dancing, not just ballet. She also loves reality shows, as well as Desperate Housewives. Apparently, Pauline got through watching the whole first season in four days.
