Three words to describe yourself: awesome, amazing, modest
LaVonte was born in Millen, Georgia and says the city is "a great place to grow up, but when it's time to go, it's time to go." He is involved in SGA Freshmen Board and is appropriately supporting the "Ignite" ticket. LaVonte says, "I love God so much and I always ask for signs," so one day, LaVonte was on an elevator at Conner Hall at UGA, and he said that it randomly stopped on the second floor. Across from the elevator, LaVonte said that there was a bulletin board with a flier that said: Your Future: Agribusiness. Since then, LaVonte changed his major to agribusiness. LaVonte does have some background experience with agriculture, which includes participating in 4-H in high school. Because "UGA is the best place on Earth," LaVonte's ultimate goal is to become the UGA President. Before this goal is attained however, LaVonte would also like to "go to a 3rd-world country and be a missionary" working specifically with handicapped orphans. He is a member of UGA Miracle and is on the Public Relations Committee. He would also like to work with University Admissions and he says, "I like politics, but I also like working with students."
